If you live in a more hilly terrain area then the Scott Addict eRide bike is ideal and you can also enjoy the bike at a more sportier level if you are riding on paved surfaces with smart handling and the assist from the motor. This e-bike is much lighter than its competitors making it a strong contender for those looking at purchasing an e-bike, with the ability to handle decent speeds as a road bike should you also won’t shy away from tackling a few gravel paths.

Overview Performance

The Scott Addict eRide 10 is a really enjoyable bike to ride giving you enough speed too. The handling of the bike makes you feel stable and you are able to control the higher speeds and turning corners, also with the ability to climb steep hills and have the assistance makes it a very pleasing ride. It is an ideal bike to go out on weekend adventures or to take part in local group rides with people who may be more adept at riding than you as with the assistance having 3 modes it works with you.

Speed, Battery & Range

 The Scott Addict eRide 10 comes with the Mahle “One Button” system which uses a singular button to display the battery status of the bike and the ability to change between power modes, Eco, Mid-Power and Full-power (Green, Orange and Red). The motor is the new eBikemotion X20 which is small and compact, also lightweight keeping the bike at a low overall weight, its torque is 60 Nm which gives a good pop of power when you are climbing steep hills.

There is an internally mounted 248Wh battery that can provide up to 80 miles of power assisted range, but this is dependent on the terrain, you can however opt for a range extender which gives you the ability to add an extra 70% of range in just a matter of seconds.

The Shimano Ultegra R8170 hydraulic disc brakes are great for if you need to come to a stop quite quickly, as with any road bike though it’s best to be safe in adverse weather conditions and always ensure you’re slowing down before you need to hit the brakes, even if Shimano boast the ability to stop whatever the weather.. The Shimano Ultegra Di2 12-speed shifter is ideal with it being an electronic shifter it means you have more control over gear changes and they change a lot quicker, there are no cables for you to worry about with this eShift. 

Warranty & Customer Support

If purchased via e-bikeshop.co.uk the bike comes with a 5 year warranty on the frame, a 2 year warranty on all the electronics and a 1 year warranty on the components.
